Google acquired an online analytics company called Urchin -- it helps customers maximize the effectiveness of online Web sites and campaigns by uncovering the best keywords and site designs to capture and hold consumers'
attention. Also Google officially re-launched the service as Google Analytics, and now, it's completely free. You don't even have to be a Google AdWords customer to obtain free access to the online marketing tips, research and insights that other analytics companies (and once, Urchin) charge good money to provide. Google says that it wants everyone to serve customers better online, "make more money, and improve the web experience for everyone."
Among other tools, the site includes a series of brief articles in "Conversion University."
