Hi Rajeev, First of all, VB 6.0 is way out of date. You should be learning Visual Basic .Net, or better yet, C#. You should start with at least version 2.0 of C# or 8.0 of VB.Net (The versions introduced in 2005) in these languages.
Many of the programming techniques in VB 6.0 have been replaced by newer, better and easier methodologies in the .Net world. (For example, COM is pretty much dead- you should be learning .Net remoting and .Net controls, web services, etc)
That said, I would suggest anything by Wrox or O'Reilly as far as books go. Post Comments |

Hi, Programming Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 is decent, it's what I used when I learned VB. I regret having ever touched that language. Hopefully you don't need to learn it for a class. Post Comments |
