It is better and effective to choose the right person for each task. Some persons are skilled in special tasks. Others may need training and direction. The task should entrusted by knowing the capacity of the person.  
 
 
Proper communication
 

After entrusting the task to the proper person next thing is to communicate the ideas properly.  Understand the task properly with all its available details. Check them properly to know whether it will reach the target or not.  
 
 
Share and not alone  

If you think that you have to do everything alone, it is tiresome and failure. Every body has got their own approaches and you also follow your own method or approach. If you want the things to be completed successfully, you have to share your burden or work with others and thus the task becomes lighter. And this is a must in today's world.

Sharing the workload, with the extra benefit of developing skills and responsibility in others is the sign of effective delegation. Give them sufficient range of freedom in making the decision and action.  Be prudent in such situation. Trust in the person his capacity to do the task. Be with the person with sufficient support.

unless your job is ready you cannot actualize it. The characteristics of good tasks are: quantifiable, Realistic, Time bound, practicable, and Specific. If you cannot actualize them it is not ready at all.  Unclear and indistinct tasks are impossible to complete. It will be waste of time and energy.
