Few problems and its solutions for a new Web Designer

You can make a professional looking website even if you are first in Web designing work. And it will be a thrill for you in getting a new website by your own effort. And it is like having a first baby. Ok, good you are happy but be prudent. It will be a failure when it comes to the reality. You will have to face some problems in this field and you must aware about it and should learn to solve these problems. Here below are few web designing problems and its solutions.

1. The Text in Disorder

A visitor cannot bear when the person has to read it with strain from each corner of the screen. You have to format it in legible width even if the literature is too long.

Remedy: Centre your table in the screen and keep your text in one single data cell of a simple table.

2. Images of Gargantuan

It happens often when the new web designers take photos directly off their scanner or digital camera without resizing and without compressing. And it is worse than landing on a page that has an image taking over the whole screen, taking forever to download in the screen. The scanned photos or taken for printing purpose are larger and usually at 300 dpi and the visitors may not have that much patience to wait to view the whole image.

Remedy: Choose a photo program like Paint Shop, Photo Shop or other resized images to fit in the table you intend to put it in. And it should be under 500 pixels wide usually. Compress it to 72 dots per inch.

3. Wiggling and Bouncing Animated Clip Art

It really troubles the website visitors, and sometimes it will be difficult for you to find out where is the real problem.

Remedy: Just choose a nice color scheme instead of clip art if you are not a graphics designer because the color mix does not take extra time to download.

4. Excessive banners, buttons and links

The sites with the above things in excess will naturally turn the visitors away, judging that it is "non-sense site".

Remedy: Publish free articles on various interesting topic of your affiliate program.  There are thousands of free articles that you can publish on getting more website traffic. Keep your affiliate link at the bottom, top, or middle of the page where the article is published on. It not only make the content of your site more interesting, and more valuable and attractive to search engines. This is worthwhile.

5. Music Clips are embedded

Your elevator tune may be attractive but no visitors may like it to hear. Sometimes a sudden blare of music will scare your visitors and it may force them to go away.

Remedy: If you are having a site for music sale, the visitors expect to hear something interesting. Give your music links clickable choice. So that visitors can listen it according to their own taste.

6. When the Scroll goes out of Control

It happens when you have to scroll text from left to right as well as up and down. This happens for most of the new designers when they design their websites larger than 800 pixels wide.

Remedy: Set your table widths around 750 and everyone will be able to look at your site without using a bottom scrollbar because most of the visitors view resolution at 800x600.

If you are success in solving the above problems your site is on the top in having more sales.  All the best!
